The UNIVERS AC is the latest advance in security doors interfaced
with a proximity access control system. Designed for discreet automatic
access control, the proximity access card is read through the glass
sides as the user passes. Access to secure areas is then controlled
by a pair of concealed sliding doors which close for a non-authorized
user, and quietly exit the user back out to the entrance. The flow
of traffic for authorized users is uninterrupted.
The UNIVERS AC is available in two versions:
1. One-way access control (AC1), with additional sliding doors on
high side
2. Two-way access control (AC2), with additional sliding doors on
low and high sides

The UNIVERS is the latest Advanced Security revolving door with three sectors and a built-in Metal Detector (M.D.)
What makes this door unique is the integration of one concealed sliding doors which closes automatically whenever a metal object is detected.
As with every revolving door system, users can pass through in two directions using the first available sector. In case of a M.D. alarm, the user occupying the affected sector will be guided by the automated security to quietly continue the revolution and exit the building.
As soon as the turnstile moves the affected sector from the now closed access to the building, the additional door re-opens, creating free passage for other users, unless, of course, another alarm is activated. In situations where a M.D. alarm is active, the cycle is not in any way adversely affected. The continuous rotation of the UNIVERS enables all users, both entering or leaving, to pass through, regardless of irregular situations, drastically improving passage flow all the while maintaining a high security level.
